God in Guatemala

My friend Julia just came home from a two week missions trip to Guatemala. They gave their testimonies, put on dramas for the children, and just shared the love of Jesus with everyone.

We went to the movies last night, and I was riding with Julia on the way home. She told me all about her trip. The most amazing part of her story, though, is that two children were healed by Jesus through prayer. A boy’s hearing was restored after a half hour of prayer, and a girl’s sight was restored overnight. Amazing.

I am full of awe at God’s grace.

Yesterday, I got three photos of the children I’m sponsoring for Compassion! Narcisse, Rabi, and Salomon are all children of Burkina Faso who live in AIDS affected communities. They are some of the most beautiful children I have ever seen. None of them are smiling. I hope I can change that.

O Baby!

Check out this boy. His is so awesome.  I am sponsoring him through Compassion International. I pay merely 32 bucks a month to give this boy a safe and healthy environment. He is an orphan of Ethiopia. I love him so much! People, compassion starts with you. If this world is going to change it is going to be an average person lifting up an average person. We can’t depend on the government or other people to do what we are meant to do.
