Writing letters

Archivado en: Amazing fun — Etiquetas:, , , , , , — augustonfire @ 11:16 pm

I have been in a HUGE letter writing mood this week.

I have a cousin in Israel who wants to be a Jew. I need to write to her to see how things are going.

I have a pen pal from my old church. I owe her a letter and should give her both her Christmas AND Birthday presents.

I just got a letter from a child whose parents run a camp I go to. She is precious and I need to mail my response.

I just received a call from a friend’s mom today. I promised him a letter about a year ago but never sent it out. He gets out of jail in three weeks.

I have 11 sponsorship kids all over the world who I need to send my first response letter plus write them each a personal letter.

I need stamps. All of mine are worth 39 cents. I’ll have to run by the PO and get a bunch of 1 cent stamps. How annoying.

The lock-in was the best thing that ever happened to me!!!

Ha. The lock-in was amazing! I skated, Johnny is awesome, Janah taught me how to spin around while I’m skating, and I was SO CLOSE to being able to skate backwards! So close! I’ll have to find Pete’s blades and start going out to the hockey rink or the park courts. The Dylan kid: I was perfectly clear to him TWICE that I don’t date and he is trying to hang out with me. I guess I can hang out with him and hope he gets over his motives because he’s really not a bad guy.

Laser tag: fun but not the best option so I only did it once. Went to grab a drink and ended up sitting in the restaurant with John, Brit, Mike, and Justin for a while. That was a good choice. (talking with them vs. another round of laser tag) Played pool. Why? That was a waste of lock-in time, considering the Onfire pool table. Climbed the rock wall. Played SOCCER, mostly vs. Janah and Jake. Love!

The rink was empty, so I worked on spinning and skating backwards. I got it! Mostly…

Went home, Katy cried the whole way. Why? ….no one would tell me. She seemed a little better just before she left. Got to try to start a conversation with Ken about  the apocrypha, but I managed to ask when we were about a block from Onfire. Just the fact that he knew what I was talking about makes him one of the top people to ask about anything theological. Sweet.

Played a round of pool with Justin. Sat and went comatose. Mom picked us up.

Much more detail, but that was what struck me.
